Greetings needleworkers and all of you wonderful supporters, @crosheille here! Welcome to @needleworkmonday’s first challenge of 2019! We are hoping to get a lot of participation on this fun one!

Lately you might have seen some needlework with googly eyes floating around here on Steemit. Our fellow needlers @brittandjosie, @cryptocariad and @marblely have been joining in the #googlyeyes challenge for the #googlyprize hosted by @fraenk under the @googlyeyes account.

Aren’t those the cutest googly needle creations? We want to invite all needleworkers to join in on the #googlyprize fun! Even if you have never posted for #NeedleWorkMonday you are invited to join in! I spoke with @fraenk and he is excited to see more needlework googlies being created!

If you haven’t made time for any of our other challenges, you’ll definitely want to make time for this one...

‘Make your needlework come to life’ CHALLENGE!

Rules:

1 . Put some googly eyes on your needlework (can be old or new projects).
2 . Give it a Name!
3 . Create a Purpose (can be real or fantasy)!
4 . Use the #needleworkmonday tag as your first tag and the #googlyeyes tag as your second.
5 . Post a link to your entry in the comments below on this post so we can easily find yours.

All rules must be followed in order for your entry to be qualified! Please pay special attention to them.

We are challenging you to think outside the box and have some fun! What’s your googly works’ name? What does it do? Does it help you around the house? Help you with your kids? Maybe it’s designed as a therapy assistant, you tell us :D

The googlyeyes must be added to a piece of needlework (something you actually created) and not on supplies/tools.

We really want to see some great effort and quality in these entries! This won’t be our usual pick a random name for the winner challenge. We will be judging based on:

• Effort
• Creativity
• Quality

Prizes:

• First Place - 7 SBD
• Second Place - 5 SBD
• Third Place - 3 SBD

To help us choose the winners we asked @foxyspirit to come onboard as a guest judge! She is currently hosting the ’Ultimate Crochet Contest’ which was started by her and @anjkara 9 months ago! If you love to crochet and share your work this is a fun contest to be apart of! Deadline:

All entries and shared post links for this challenge are due next Monday, January 14, 2019! Once this post pays out we will no longer be accepting entries. The winners will be announced on the 21st!
