My Passion, Helping My Family and Having Fun!
I love that I can use my skills and passion to make make monies to help my family get the things they need. My husband always tells me that he doesn’t want me to have to work unless I totally have to...like if something physically happens to him (Lord forbid) that causes him to be unable to work. I am blessed to be able to be a SAHM and be with my children all day. I especially look forward to when I’m empty nested and can craft all day for my grand babies. But we can wait for that, who’s rushing? 😂
However I love crafting and making things with my hands so it’s a bonus when someone wants to pay for something I made.
I recently made two hats for one of my dear friends who was also my manager when I worked outside the house. She saw a picture of me wearing my black one...
and said I NEED three of those! I was so excited and stopped what I was doing to get them done because there are things we need that our regular finances can’t afford right now. I made two of them for now because she wants a black one with a big silver natural shell coconut button but they are out of stock right now. I love using these buttons, they are so beautiful and of good quality. As soon as I was finished she asked me
where to meet and price?
and we met the next day.
That says a lot to me when a client doesn’t even ask you the price up front, she was willing to pay anything for them. I gave her a discount since she is a friend and since she is purchasing three of them. Those of you who post for the @needleworkmonday community have seen these hats before and know I sell them at a nearby hat store.
It feels great to be able to help get the things we need just by doing what I love to do anyway. 😊 Never be afraid to pursue your passion and if you can make a small business out of it Go For It!!!! 🎉

Thank you so much! This isn’t my original pattern. When I first wrote about them I gave out the pattern info. I could still sell them on there as long as I give pattern credits but I don’t have a lot of time to make many of them. I just make them as they’re requested ;)
