Match Preview

The Michigan Wolverines (10-2 overall, 7-2 conference) are #6 in the nation face and they will face the very tough #11 in the nation, the Florida State Seminoles (9-3 overall, 5-3 conference). This game is a really good matchup and should prove to be one of the best games outside the four Semifinal Bowl Games.

Michigan Wolverines

In the past two years, Michigan has undergone a resurgence, revival, and resurrection - just two years ago they missed final season play. Michigan this year has only had 2 losses, which were on the road, for a combined total of four points. Most recently they had a thrilling double overtime loss against Ohio State. They've had 3 wins over top 15 Teams: Colorado, Penn State & Wisconsin. Michigan leads the nation in Total and Scoring defense. Also, three Wolverines were named to the 2016 Walter Camp All-American First Team, tied for first in the country with Alabama & Florida State.

Coach Jim Harbaugh

Michigan has come a long way in the past two years under the helm of Jim Harbaugh, he has transformed the program to be a top tier program again. His players say that he's going to take you where you don't think you are going take yourself. Coach Harbaugh was a very successful Quarterback for Michigan - he was one of the most efficient passers in NCAA history. In 1985, he led the nation in pass efficiency and finished as the runner-up in 1986. His career pass efficiency rating was the NCAA's top mark for more than 12 years. Harbaugh earned first team All-America honors and finished third in the balloting for the Heisman Trophy following the 1986 season. He played for five different organizations during his 15-year NFL career (1987-2001) for 129 TD’s in 177 games. Before he got hired as a coach, he had just completed a successful four-year run in the NFL coaching the San Francisco 49rs.

Offense

The Sophomore QB, Wilton Speight, has helped lead Michigan to be the #6 national ranked college team in the country. Michigan’s ranked #12 in offensive efficiency and #4 in game control. Michigan’s offensive line has the ability to get in there and control this game in the trenches. They have a balanced offense averaging 233 yards on the ground and 216 yards.

Offense Key Players

The QB, Wilton Speight has 2,375 Passing yards, 17 TD's and he’s getting over a shoulder injury, which probably hampered Michigan’s scoring at the end of the season. Earlier on in the season, he was throwing the ball deep extremely well. He’s gotten a few weeks break, so hopefully his shoulder is close to being fully healed. The WR, Amara Darboh has 826 Receiving yards for 7 TD’s. The TE/WR, Jake Butt has 518 Receiving yards for 4 TD's and he is on the 1st Team Offense All-American.

Defense

Their overall defensive efficiency is third in the nation. The defensive line is 2nd to only Alabama. Michigan leads the nation in Total and Scoring defense.

Defense Key Players

The LB, Jabrill Peppers is a phenomenal athlete, named as a 1st Team Defense All-American. He’s played 15 different positions (6 on defense, 5 on offense, 4 on special teams). He leads one of the best secondaries in the country and held the opposing team on average 72 yards below what they normally do when it comes to passing. The DB, Jourdan Lewis was named as a 1st Team Defense All-American, last year, he was named as a 2nd Team All-American. The Co-Captain, Chris Wormley, is on the All-Big Ten Defensive 1st Team, this year he’s had 39 tackles, with nine tackles-for-loss, and finished second on the team with six sacks. Don Brown, Michigan’s defensive coordinator, led his guys to play phenomenally against Florida State last year when he was at Boston College, he had the #1 defense in the country when they didn't have a QB or offense.

Florida State Seminoles

The Florida State Seminoles are looking to make it their 5th straight 10-win season. They have a very talented and athletic defense that’s noted for their speed, size & depth of roster - they lead the nation in sacks with 47. Also, like Michigan, three Seminoles were named to the 2016 Walter Camp All-American First Team, tied for first in the country with Alabama & Michigan. College football fans have been able to closely follow and really get to know the Noles’ player’s and coaches this 2016 season on the Showtime Original Series ‘A Season With...”. The Showtime website has one of the season’s episodes (#9) available to watch for free now.

Coach Jimbo Fisher

This is coach Fisher’s 7th season as the Noles head coach. In his fourth year as head coach in 2013, Fisher planted the Seminoles back at the top of the college football world, capturing the national championship. He’s collected the most wins (68) of any “Power Five” coach through their first six seasons in modern history. Also, he has developed NFL talent at an unprecedented rate. FSU set a modern-day record with 29 draft picks over a three-year span from 2013-15, including the No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston in 2015. When Fisher started the program, he was to foster a program that sustained success by graduating student-athletes, turning out elite players and winning consistently. He has done just that while developing a family atmosphere. Fisher treats his players like his own family, challenging and praising when necessary to develop relentless competitors who are immune to adversity and have all the tools to become responsible young adults. One of his famous quotes is “If you want to win you can't be scared to lose.”

Offense

Florida State’s offense is ranked #1 in red zone offense scoring 96.2 percent of the time and #6 nationally for offensive efficiency and #16 in game control.

Offense Key Players

The Freshman QB, Deondre Francois named ACC Rookie of the year has gotten progressively better during the season with 3,128 Passing Yards, 18 TD’s, 6 Interceptions and he’s racked up more yards passing than any other current Freshman QB. The RB, Dalvin Cook rushed for 1,620 yards and 18 TD’ and he was named as a 1st Team All-American, last year, he was named a 2nd Team All-American. The WR, Travis Rudolph has 807 yards for 7 TD’s and he’s the Noles lead receiver for the 2nd straight season. The OT, Roderick Johnson was named as a 1st Team All-American.

Defense

The defense really puts the pressure on as they lead the country in sacks with 47, they’ll need to slow the Michigan running game.

Defense Key Players

The DE, Demarcus Walker can really destroy opposing backfields and he was named as a 1st Team All-American. ACC Defensive player of the year. He Leads the nation with 15 Sacks, also he has 63 Tackles, and 17.5 Tackles for Loss. The CB, Tarvarus McFadden was selected to be a Second Team All-American this year.

Notes

Their schedule got a little bit easier at the end, which afforded them a bit less pressure - not to worry though, their coaches have them roaring and ready to go. In Michigan’s three toughest games against Wisconsin, Iowa, & Ohio State they were forced to a lot of 3rd and longs. In order for them to run the ball well, Francois will have to throw the ball and run it to take some pressure off the running game.

No it's the other way around, How ever an easy way to see results is if you took the -6.5 team Michigan then at the end of the game subract 6.5 points from there total and compare it to FSU, on the other hand if you take FSU +6.5 then you would add 6.5 points to FSU total after the game and compare the result to Michigan. Hope this helps!

When playing manually, do want the team we are picking along with the URL in the memo field as shown below?

It's all in the script! :)

Just select the identifier with the red highlight, after clicking on the outcome you're betting on. Be sure to copy it exactly right.

Yeah, that's the part I was missing originally. I didn't notice the memo identifier changing as the choice was selected. Thanks!
