His bread and butter coming into the league was his defense so I think he just got stuck being the man on offense and he got tired. If anyone can get a guy to defend, it's Thibs.
He's also been playing out of position so he's been getting bullied by some of the larger SF's along with there not being any resemblance of a defensive scheme prior to Thibs. It'll take some time but with his natural gifts and Butler coming into the picture, Wiggins should slide back into SG role and hopefully picks up on some defensive instincts from Jimmy Buckets.
