NBA Finals MVP Prop Bets! Who am I betting on to win Finals MVP?

I fully expect LeBron to be the best player on the floor and also have the best numbers. However, I expect the Warriors to win the series in 4 or 5 games which will mean the MVP of the Finals is a Warrior. Lets take a look at the odds posted by Westgate Las Vegas!

Kevin Durant is the favorite at -125
Stephen Curry is +150
Klay Thompson is +2500
Draymond Green is +2500

Here is how I see this unfolding. First of all, we can't forget the narrative after last years finals. KD won MVP and for weeks after the finals, there was this madness taking over all the sports shows that Kevin Durant had surpassed LeBron as the best player in the NBA. Ludicrous I say! You better believe LeBron heard this and it is quite obvious after this season that King James is still the best player in the league, and I anticipate he will take that nonsense with him into this series and make it a goal to dominate KD and prove that he is still the best even in defeat.

Next is Steph. He had flashes of is old brilliant self in the Western Conference finals but he still doesn't seem to be 100% healthy from what I've seen in these playoffs. He simply hasn't been consistent after coming back from his knee injury. Having said that, Curry still is missing a finals MVP from his collection of hardware and could very well win it this year.

Now, as a professional bettor, I am always looking for value in each bet. Sure, Durant and Curry are the most likely to win the MVP if the Warriors win the series. But does that mean Thompson and Green should be 25-1 odds? NO WAY! Why? Because the Warriors can still win this series even if Curry plays below standard and Durant plays lousy while being guarded by LeBron. And if the Warriors win and the MVP goes to anyone other than Durant or Curry, it will 100% in my mind go to either Klay or Draymond! One thing I know for sure is that Draymond will be giving 100% every game and could have a triple double or 2 in this series. He may even average close to one! And we all know Klay could shoot lights out for 4 games in a row and do something crazy like make 10 threes in a game.

For these reasons, I have bet the following:

Klay Thompson to win Finals MVP +2500 risking 1unit to win 25units
