Prometheus NBA picks 1/18/18

Hello friends, welcome to my daily NBA picks series. Today I will focus on Philadelphia vs Boston and on Portland vs Indiana

Philadelphia vs Boston

This game comes a week after the last meeting between these two teams, a game in which I picked very well https://steemit.com/sports/@prometheus21/prometheus-nba-picks-1-11-18. This is a tough one for both teams, as they might be missing multiple starting players. Boston comes after a thriller home loss, against The Pelicans in OT. Overall, they still have a very positive record and are a solid team no matter who they play. The 76ers have been very inconsistent throughout this season, showing their inexperience. They have a good record in the last 6 games, losing just one, to the Celtics. I predict a close game, with a Boston tight defense, hence my pick:

Portland vs Indiana

Indy, 24/10 are on a three game winning streak coming into this game and are looking to climb the Eastern Conference rankings. They shot an impressing 53.2% from the field in the last game against Utah. There is no reason why this nice form should not continue for them. In contrast, the Blazers have lost three of their last 4 games. They have been all over the place, they play lots of iso ball and I am quite confident they will not cover the spread tonight:
