Celtics and Wizards take their series back home

in #nba7 years ago (edited)

So today was a relative, quiet day on the NBA playoff, further more, no western conference games. Both games followed the seat order where the upper seat laid down the rule and putting themselves ahead of the race. With both teams taking advantage of home court and excelling against the underdogs.

Bulls vs Celtics

Celtics fought a great game against Chicago but in the end, the Celtic backcourt came alive and Al Hordford was pushing for a big dominant push on rebounds on the 4th quarter. He dominated the boards and even on those jerky 50/50 balls he manage to keep the green men with a hand on the ball. One of the players I felt a bit bad was Bull's center Robin Lopez.

Personally I think that is a bad move to have Jimmy Buckets to have the lead of the team, most of the time the shine of D Wade has been left behind but he seem to be able to so much more if you could only knew how to move the pieces. Isiah Thomas was great and I think he truly is a new Allen Iverson, although I still don't know how he would step up against John Wall in the next round.

Wizards vs Hawks

This game was also pretty tight looking at the game flow, we would be able to see how the game never really got out of hand.

Dwight Howard gave a great game and took on Gortat but Millsap had the great double double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. However the big front court from the Wizards got the game in the end and it was John Wall clutch shot from the top of the key with 15 sec to go.
