NBA Players Twitter Accounts to Consider Following
Some time ago, I thought it would be useful to take a look at where I could find the Twitter accounts of some of my favorite NBA players both past and present. So here's a look at some Twitter handles you may want to follow.
Shaquille O'Neal
Follow @Shaq to see what the big guy is up to since seen here in his early days at LSU and since retiring from the NBA. Shaq is always entertaining and funny to see what he might do next.
Next is Lebron James.
In case you are unaware, Lebron has the nickname of King James. Lebron can be followed @KingJames .
It doesn't matter if you are a Warriors fan either.
Kevin Durant - Follow him @KDTrey5 to keep up with what the superstar is up to.
Durant caused a lot of controversy this past season in the NBA by deciding to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder as a free agent and join the already loaded and talented Golden State Warriors. The results were not a big surprise to most people as the Warriors went on to dominate the NBA playoffs and win the championship as Durant was named the Most Valuable Player in the Championship Series against Lebron and the Cleveland Cavailiers.
Stephen Curry - @StephenCurry30
Since we are on the topic of the champion Golden State Warriors, we obviously need to follow the two time NBA MVP and three point shooting specialist . Curry took a slightly diminished role as a scorer to blend nicely with the incredibly talented Durant and the results were a dominant team. Curry is considered by most to be the greatest three point shooter the league has ever seen.
James Harden - @JHarden13
Standout guard James Harden for the Houston Rockets had an incredible season. He was considered by many to be the MVP of the league but lost out to Russel Westbrook. Harden has the nickname of "The Beard" for obvious reasons and his long beard has become his trademark. The Rockets have high expectations this coming season as they have added star guard Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers. Many are wondering how the combination of to players that need to have the ball in their hands will work. It'll be fun to watch if the Rockets can make some noise in the ultra-competitive western conference of the NBA.
Russell Westbrook - @ruswest44
Russell Westbrook had an incredible season for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was named the regular season MVP. He ended up averaging a triple double meaning he scored double figures in points, double digits in rebounds, and double digits in assists for the entire season. This had not been done since legendary Oscar Robertson. Westbrook is a beast on the court and has his own unique sense of fashion for sure.
I have recently begun to really get back into Twitter for professional purposes for my school. I am a school teacher and basketball coach at the junior high/ middle school level. My personal twitter is @hoov45.
I hope that you have found this interesting and would consider voting it up. I would be willing to expand on this article in the future if it is well received.
