The first game was between the Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards in their Game 2 in Eastern Conference Round 1. And the Raptors have once again, beaten the Wizards 130 to 119 to take 2-0 lead!

DeMar DeRozan scored 37 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists leading the Raptors in terms of scoring. He made 14 shots out of 23 field goal attempts while making 3 pointers out of 6 3-pointer attempts. That’s 60.9 percent FG% and 50 percent 3P% respectively.

However, the key to their victory was not because of DeRozan alone but also due to the other 5 Raptor players who scored another double digits. Also, Serge Ibaka had contributed 3 blocks which made him an efficient ring defender while Lowry also contributed 12 assists for their team to win.

On the other hand, John Wall scored 29 points for the Washington Wizards with 4 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Wizard players had also scored double digits but weren’t just enough to secure the win. And in my own opinion, it was because one of their star players, Bradley Beal was having a bad game.

The Wizards will have the home court advantage on Game 3. You can watch the game recap here

The second match was between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks. In Game 1, the Celtics won in overtime but this time, they’ve won again in a very convincing way. And it was Jaylen Brown who led the young Celtics to victory.

Jaylen Brown scored 30 points and half of that came out from the three point line. He made 54.5 FG% and 41.7 3P%. and then contributed 5 rebounds and just 1 assist! Three bench players had also scored double digits to help the Celtics take the easy win!

Also, Rozier and Horford scored 23 points and 16 points respectively while Jayson Tatum helped the defense with 4 steals and 1 block! I really admired their rotations as well as their individual efforts to help their team win.

The Bucks on the other hand was led by none other than their star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo himself. He scored 30 points and contributed 9 rebounds, 8 assists then 1 steal and 1 block for their team.

Khris Middleton stepped up with 25 points and I can really say that their shooting is really good. However, they need to improve their defense as well as avoid as many turnovers as they can if they want to win in this series. You can watch the game recap here

The third and last match of the day was between the Portland Trail Blazers and the New Orleans Pelicans. The latter won the game with a score of 111 to 102 and surprisingly, Jrue Holiday led the Pelicans in terms of scoring!

Pelicans starting SG, Jrue Holiday scored 33 points with 3 rebounds and 9 assists to help the Pelicans secure their 2-0 lead. Although there was only a little bit of contribution coming from the bench, their starting lineup is just too much for Trail Blazers to handle.

Anthony Davis scored 22 points and 13 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals, Rajon Rondo contributed 16 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists while Nikola Mirotic made 17 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks for the Pelicans!

On the other side, the Portland Trail Blazers are struggling with their shooting. Damian Lillard who scored 17 points shoots poorly in the paint with just 38.9 FG% while CJ McCollum had 22 points at 42.9 FG%! Overall, their team only shoots 45.1 FG%!
