I am from Ural

I was born in Ural - large region in central part of Russia. On its territory is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world - Ural Mountains. This is a land of forests, low mountains covered with those forests, small rivers and forest lakes. Southern and middle parts are well developed and relatively densely populated. There are many cities, towns and small villages here. But on the norths - boundless territory actually unaffected by civilization. In the rivers there is still cold fresh water, which you can safely drink without boiling, and in the forests there lives a large number of wild inhabitants.

As a child and teenager I spent a lot of time in the forests surrounding our city. As well as on rivers and lakes, where I contracted a passion for fishing. From that period I can not live without wild northern nature and when I stay for a long time in some beautiful exotic country it comes the moment when I feel "Enought - I need to go back to forests!!" And after that my life turns into the expectation of the moment when I will be far from civilized places, where the spirits of the forest reign and the rapid waters of streams rumble.

Here I woild like to show some photos from one recent outbreak on the banks of the Ural river Mezhevaya Utka that I together with my friends made last summer. I'm trying to let you feel the spirit of the territory, atmosphere of middle Ural region.

That was a few-days trip when we were discovering a part of river on boats, spent nights in the forest in tents and enjoyed the pristine nature.
