Last light falls on American Border Peak 2,438 m (7,998 ft). The shot is taken looking back towards Canada after hiking up to Artist Point in the Mount Baker Wilderness Area. The high Atlas mountains in Morocco decorated lightly with snow. As witnessed here, Morocco is a land full of strongly contrasting colors. Just a little below these snowy peaks, the landscape changes completely into an arid, yellow-orange desert.
The view into the distance enables us to become clear.
