in #nature7 years ago

Mangrove forest is a coastal forest ecosystem consisting of groups of trees that can live in a high salinity environment. One of the characteristics of mangrove plants has roots that poke to the surface. The appearance of mangroves is like a stretch of bush that separates the land from the sea.

The term mangrove is often considered the same as mangroves. Whereas in some literature these two terms refer to different things. Mangrove is an Indonesian and also Malaysian term referring to a group of plants originating from the genus Rhizophora. For example Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora stylosa, and others.
While mangrove refers to all types of plants that grow around the shoreline and can live in a high-berkelitas environment. Included in it various types of mangrove trees. So here is quite clear the difference, mangroves belong to one type of mangrove.
