🕊 Here are some easy and effective ways to attract birds into your garden:
Make your garden a safe place for birds, do not keep predators like cats, sparrow hawks etc. Hang bird feeders on the trees, so that the birds will come there to eat and put in a little birdbath for birds to drink water from. Birds like an environment with lots of trees and scrubs in general. Trees that bear fruit are a great way to attract birds. Here are some of the main trees that attract birds, mulberry trees, wild grape trees, white oak, apples trees, flowering dogwood, Eastern red cedar, and spruces.
I let a pokeberry bush sprout up in my garden, it's loaded with fruit. (not for human consumption). I was going to cut it down when an entire flock of cedar waxwings began to feast. Left it up, but they must have been just passing by. Thanks for the post!
