The Tasmanian Devil - One Of The Cutest Ferocious Animals On Earth

Hey, fellow steemians! I decided to star off this day on Steemit by writing a couple of lines one of the most peculiar, cutest, yet ferocious animals on Earth, the Tasmanian devil. Small-sized, nimble, and an excellent nocturnal predator, the Tasmanian devil is one of the cousins of the kangaroo, but very much unlike its neighbouring island relative, this little fellow has the strongest jaws in the family.

Living on the small island of Tasmania just across Bass Strait, in the southern hemisphere, the Tasmanian devil has the strongest jawbone of any marsupial and a very efficient pair of whiskers that help him detect potential prey during nighttime.

While quasi nocturnal, the Tasmanian devil does not necessarily want to hide away from the sun either and can even be seen by many tourists and locals in Tasmania during daytime. Another misconception about this species is the fact that they are generally quite solitary, but certain studies proved the fact that their social interactions have just been previously misunderstood.
