That's great news! I love it when cities have a lot of parks and greenspaces in them.
the trees should also improve its landscape´s ability to retain rain water.
This is actually super important, and can save millions of dollars in the event of flash floods. Even pretty small patches of green spaces in the middle of a city can potentially prevent a lot of damage from these things.
Exactly :) There is a whole bunch of benefits that come with more forested landscapes.
