The New Oil Field in Alegria, Cebu
How many of you here are affected by the oil price hike in Cebu or in the Philippines? Well, I am one of the many that are really affected since I can consume almost 2 liters of gasoline almost every 3-4 days depending on the place that I'll be going to.

But, Good news!!
The production of natural gas and oil from the Oil Field in Alegria (Southern part of Cebu) is now set to begin after 8 years of drilling activities since in 2009 by a Chinese firm.

As of the moment, Pres. Duterte dials the valve which is of one of the Polyard wells and the pipe (located at left side part of the image) that lights up to send signals that fuel is coming out. The oil field is located in Alegria, Cebu which will be in our favor since the source will now be in the country.

The system is expected to produce 600-700 barrels a day with its 6 wells.
I am really hoping that soon this will be running well. Congrats Philippines!! Hope this will be a lesson that we, the Philippines has a lot of natural resources that needs to be cultivated, discovered, innovated and etc.
