While we have tons of Mourning Doves in our yard, I've never seen a nest. This is wicked cool, @zekepickleman! And I hear you on the empty nest - my three are now all adults, and we're on the precipice of some big changes in our living situation, so that last shot really got me in the feels, much like, "I'm in love" comment from your little one. Thanks so much for sharing this magical mile with us.

Funny thing is the “oh I am in love” was from a video she posted on Instagram and was preceded by “they are so soft” I had to ask her if she thought touching them was a good idea. She said she knew it was a bad idea and just couldn’t resist trying just the once.
