This time the place we will visit is Jambi. Jambi is on the east coast of Sumatra Island. This province has the same name as its capital, just like Gorontalo and Bengkulu. When viewed in the past, Jambi became one of the territories under the rule of Sriwijaya Kingdom, so it is not surprising to find a large temple complex here. Jambi is not only about the relics of Sriwijaya Kingdom. Here, there are many interesting sights to visit. If you are in Jambi, take your time to come to this tourist place in order to get to know Jambi more closely. Here are some tourist attractions in Jambi are very good for you to visit;

1. Muaro Jambi Temple

This temple complex is referred to as the Buddhist temple of the relics of the Kingdom of Sriwijaya and Malay. Tourist attractions in Jambi are also referred to as the largest temple complex in Indonesia. In 2009, UNESCO set the temple in the form of red bricks as one of the world heritage sites that must be protected.

Discovered by S.C Crooke, a British lieutenant, in 1820, Muaro Jambi Temple was later restored by the Indonesian government in 1975. To date, there are 61 temples, most of which are still covered with soil. In addition to the temple, found also household tools that prove that this area was used as a place to live the monks. There are also Chinese ceramics from the Song dynasty that signify an international relationship between the Sriwijaya Kingdom and the Chinese first. This cultural place is located in Muaro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency, or about 26 km from downtown Jambi.

2. Tanggo Rajo

This Tanggo Rajo is not much different from Kapuas Square Park or Losari Beach which offers a culinary tour on the water's edge. Tourist attractions in Jambi are visited many times in the afternoon and evening is the right place to enjoy the view of the River Batanghari which is the longest river in Sumatra.

In addition to views of the River Batanghari and sunset, you can also enjoy the culinary that is sold in tents around the place of this tour. Waiting for the moment of the sunset while enjoying roasted corn with loved ones here would be nice. On weekends, tourist attractions in Jambi are visited by many anglers. Apart from being used as a place of recreation, Tanggo Rajo is also often used as a Jambi Anniversary and other major events. This tourist place is located at Jalan Sultan Thaha, Jambi Market.

3. Mini Park and Rimba Park Jambi

The complex is an integrated tourist attraction that offers sports facilities, recreational parks, and cultural attractions. In general, the complex is divided into two parts, Mini Park and Rimba Park.

Mini Park is a tourist attraction in Jambi that presents a miniature culture in this province. The concept is similar to Mini Park in Jakarta, which displays a typical replica of the building area. The difference, if displayed in Jakarta is the culture of all regions in Indonesia, here are displayed only the culture of each district in Jambi.

The other tourist attractions are Rimba Park which is the pride of zoo of Jambi residents. Just like a zoo somewhere else, here too you can see a variety of animal species. What is interesting is the presence of a semi-circular glass bird cage that contains a variety of birds ranging from cranes to cassowaries.

In addition to Mini Park and Rimba Park, in the 18-hectare complex, there is also a sports stadium that is always busy used during weekends. Most visited tourist attractions in Jambi are on street Sunaryo or just 500 meters from Sultan Thaha Syaifuddin Airport.
