Drunken tree

Choricium (silk tree) is a type of deciduous tree that lives in the tropical and subtropical forests of South America. This tree has a bottle-shaped, swollen chest in which water is stored in the dry season. The bark of this tree is studded with spines of different sizes. Hairpins appear on the third year of life. In winter, when there are almost no leaves left on the trees, they attract the eye with an expanding crown, in which numerous brownish fruits, resembling medium-sized aubergine or large avocado fruit, hang on bare boughs.
With age, the tree trunk acquires the shape of a bottle, which gave him another name - Drunken tree.
