Does a water droplet have memory?
The weather turned cold last night as the clear skies allowed the heat to soak out into the great beyond.
The freezing cold brought frost to the low areas where it lingers in the morning shade. When the sun touches theses ice crystals they shape shift, letting go their sharp lines and becoming rounded droplets.
Seeing the water roll down blades of grass while ice crystals remain fixed in place makes me wonder about the memory of water. Does it remember the previous shape, or the streams from which it has wondered?
When the time for change comes does water cling to it's previous form?
Water droplets in the sunshine.
