Which place would you love to go for holiday, mountain or beach?
For me, I love both mountain and beach. But, today, I would like to share with you the main reasons why I love to go to the beach for holiday.
I think sunrise and sunset over the sea is more amazing than other places.
The sunlight, fresh air, sands and waves at the beach allow us to relax.
Our mind will fly freely and nothing to be worried when we stay beside the sea.
The smell of salty air can make us feel pleasant as well.
Imagine! When we are at the beach, we can see the sea as far as we can and no limit!
These can bring us back to pure nature and it’s a wonderful time for us to admire the great creation of the nature.
These photos at Rayong beach, in the East of Thailand, can support well my above reasons.
I visited the beach in Rayong province several times, but this time, these photos are from my brother who recently visited there. The day he went there was the rainy day; the sky was full with clouds!
I love this beach because it looks really peaceful and good for relaxing during holiday indeed!

excellent work dear friend @ tangmo, you are very right in what you say. I am a fan of nature in general and I like the mountains as much as the beaches, if I have to decide for one, I choose the beach.

I love the sound of the sea and the breeze.
I love the evening walks on the beach. The sand is cooler than the day. Sometimes it blows a light cooling wind. The sun is slow, nothing to savor this view as much as possible!

My partner and I are still debating if we're retiring high up in the mountains or by the beach. He loves being in the mountains where the tempereatures are low but it's definitely the beach for me. Your pictures are beautiful. Even when it's cloudy or raining, the water still looks peaceful. And the resort looks gorgeous. Your posts never fail to make me want to visit Thailand soon, @tangmo! You're doing a very good job in promoting your country.

So, beach or mountains is the final decision for your retirement.... ;)
It's still up for debate unfortunately. We have agreed that we will try both. We'll live by the beach for a year and another year in the mountains. Maybe then we'll see each other's point of view =)
