1. Carrion Flower

The carcass is a giant flower that is very unique because it can produce a foul smell like a carcass. The stench is actually intended to invite the beetles and flies to land and help the process of pollination. These flowers grow high soaring up to reach 4 meters. When blooming, the exterior is creamy white while the crown is a deep purplish red. This flower will only bloom for 7 days until then die or grow back.

Padma Giant or Rafflesia Arnoldii is also a gigantic flower that emits a foul odor when it blooms. Because they both emit a bad smell, sometimes many people mistakenly call this flower as a carcass flower. Rafflesia Arnoldii grows wider to the side and not rising like a carcass. When the flowers bloom, its diameter can reach 1 meter weighing up to 10 kilograms. The period of growing up to bloom is about 9 months. This flower will only bloom for 7 days before then wither and die. Rafflesia Arnoldii flowers live in other plants. Therefore, the habitat is highly dependent on the presence of host plants. Currently this flower population is shrinking due to the increasingly narrow habitat due to the conversion of the forest into agricultural areas, settlements, or mining.
3. Sandalwood
