Krueng (River) Simpo is a Beautiful tourist place in City of Struggle
Bireuen is a district dubbed the "city of Juang" (struggle city). This district was once an area within the district of North Aceh. Then after the division (separation) from the district of North Aceh, the official Bireuen became a district separated from the District of North Aceh.
In this district there are several tourist sites such as beach and beautiful baths and also visited by many visitors from various regions. its among is krueng (river) Simpo which is located in District July, Bireuen District. Krueng or this river has its own attraction for tourists to stop and enjoy the natural scenery around it.
The distance from Bireuen City to this river only takes about 20 minutes if using a motorcycle. Krueng Simpo is located right at the edge of the Takengon - Bireun road agency. Geographically, Krueng simpo location is fairly strategic and very easy for tourists to get here.
There are small, lined huts lined with eafed roofs and floorboards that are commonly used as a stopover place for visitors to let go of tiredness because of long journeys.
Krueng Simpo is not too broad when compared with the krueng (river) bate ileik which is a tourist spot in Bireuen kabuapen this, but this river (krueng simpo) filled with big rocks plus the flow of the river that its water rushing river make this river become a special tourist location for visitor. Around this krueng simpo there is the palm trees citizens who make the place becomes more interestng and very stunning for visitor.
