The bee pollinating and under we also have a ant. In some plant species, ants can act as mutualists.

Symbiosis: A relationship between two organisms in which the organisms benefit from one another

Could you explain the ant's mutualism a bit more? New concept for me!

Hi nikigenji :) Yes ofcourse, its like 'symbiosis; the bug( a ant in this case) benefit from visiting the plant and the plant benefits from the ant coming for a visit ;) ants can be effective pollinators especially for plant species with a low, dense flowering stature, Do that help you???

hm let me put it this wayr> every mutual relationships are symbiotic , but not all symbiotic relationships are mutual relationships.

Didn't realise that ants can act as pollinators!

aww see, they do not do that with ALL flowers.... They can actually be harmful for some... so see them as hmm picky? ;) ha ha

That's cool! I'll need to do more research on that in the future. Interested in (natural) gardening in general.

You got cool pics here!

Thank you Ac :D
