Shaggy coyotes
A pair of shaggy coyotes on a hill in our neighborhood today. We often hear coyotes at night but seldom see them during the day. This pair was looking a little mangy maybe thats why they were out hunting in the middle of the day.

People in my neighborhood in Texas are seeing coyotes at night and close to dawn near a large creek where they can find squirrels, rabbits and rats to eat! Unfortunately they have been quite hungry lately and will grab unsuspecting small dogs and any size cats for their meal!! That’s nature for you! I’ve been trying to tell people don’t let your cats out day or night! Same for small dogs!
They are opportunistic. Take away the opportunity and they will behave themselves ;)
