Every Season has its own unique blend of beauty. Autumn and springs are the changing seasons, and here is why autumn is one of my favourites. It's a time when the trees are changing from their summer clothing and stripping down for winter. 

Autumn, according to the meteorological calendar, starts in September and ends in November. In the astronomic calendar the beginning of autumn is marked by the equinox which is around the 22 September. During autumn the sun is directly shinning on the equator,  hence night and day around the globe are of equal length; night and day are roughly 12 hours each. 

Autumn is a significant period  in many culture throughout history. Many festivals, even to this day, are occurring all over the globe during the autumn equinox including the Moon Festival in China and the Michaelmas in the UK.
