Nature is full of surprises ◇ There are always new things to learn!
And there it is taking over...
As we're quarantined in our little forest, we're moving forward with as much stuff as we need to do to continue building a Neo-tribal Village. Well, doing what we can with the material we have on the property... this time is perfect for practicing and making use of the 8 forms of capital (this is sonething we should all look a bit deeper into).
Today we wanted to paint an old playground we got a couple years ago, used from a nearby town. It was free but already 10 years old. Sure we should have gotten it ready for winter and other inconvenient weather for wood, there and then. But here we are 2 years later, going through paint buckets we had in storage... most of those paints were too old too use 😔.
I know it's sad, you keep certain things to use some day down the road and it goes bad when you need it! I'm gessing paints shouldn't be left out in the freezing cold maybe?
Well one can of paint wasn't too old at all, so we used that. I'll take a photo later. While prepping the area, I saw this tiny little plant. Turns out it's a lichen.
A lichen is a composite organism that arises from algae or cyanobacteria living among filaments of multiple fungi species in a mutualistic relationship. (Wikipedia)
