Earth Mystery #3 : Lost World Caverns

The Lost World Caverns is an underground NATURAL series of caverns, around 120 feet below the Earth's surface. You can say wonderland of stalactites and stalagmites. It is located just outside Lewisburg, West Virginia, US. This cave temperature always remain constant at 52 degrees.

The Bridal Veil
It is a beautiful column of sparkling white calcite.

The War Club
It is a 28 foot stalagmite made famous when Bob Addis sat on it for nearly 16 days.

The Snowy Chandelier
It is a 30 ton compound stalactite, presumed to be one of the nation's largest this type of rock formation.

The Ice Cream Wall
It’s made of calcite (which looks like vanilla), iron oxides and manganese.
