japanese snakes temple

I am RYO.
There was a shrine in the beautiful pond of the other day, and there is a temple just around.
Shrine is a Shinto.
Temple is Buddhism.
Shintoism and Buddhism fused in Japan about 1,300 years ago.
But 150 years ago they separated according to the government's order, but the shrine and the temple are still in the same place even now.
This temple seems to be enshrining the snakes as a god.
There are several bronze statues of snakes.
I will climb the stairs.
There is a stone where a snake is drawn again.
A temple is visible on the other side
There is a snake statue just to the right on entering the temple.
