In this post I want to share with you some flowers I could identify and that proved to be frequently visited by hummingbirds :)

In diesem Post möchte ich ein paar Blumen, die ich identifizieren konnte und die regelmäßig von Kolibris besucht werden, mit euch teilen :)

Typical hummingbird-flowers are usually bright red in color, are rich in nectar and have a tubular form. In fact this is a beautiful example for co-evolution, where hummingbirds have various bill forms and sizes that often perfectly fit in to the tubes of the flowers.

Typische Kolibri-Blüten haben für gewöhnlich eine strahlend rote Farbe, sind besonders reich an Nektar und sind röhrenförmig. Tatsächlich ist das ein schönes Beispiel für Co-evolution, da die Kolibris viele verschiedene Schnabelformen und Schnabelgrößen haben die oft perfekt in die Röhren der Blüten passen.
