I actually thought that my neighbour had placed a plastic frog down by the water as a practical joke.

This bull frog is the real deal.

He’s a skilled jumper! Lol!

Ha-ha. As soon as I saw the water-lily, I immediately thought about the frog and now you have it. Thank you very beautiful photos. I have not seen such frogs many times, they do not live with us.

Thanks @sheikh27! This frog has been startling me every day for the last month. He likes to hang out right at the shoreline and he’ll wait until you get very close before he jumps and makes a huge splash. I think it’s a game...can I scare the old lady? Lol!

This frog almost jumped right in the canoe with me.
When they get this size, they almost always have claws at the end of their webbed feet. They’ll climb right up your leg if you’re in their way. Hahaha!
