Great piece @alchemage. The government continues to show how much they want to control... they don't want us finding our own natural medicines and cures... they don't want us thinking for ourselves... they don't want people breaking their dependencies on opioids (the drug THEY push like candy via pharmaceutical pain killers), and they want to inflict massive fines on anyone who disobeys their arbitrary rulings. Land of the free no more.
Thank you very much for taking the time to comment with an in-depth response. The State is all about control, and it is losing its grasp on such as people move from the recreations of nature and grow accustomed to the fully natural medicines and ways of life. Nature is chaos, the State is order. In a system where chaos is the main energy at play, the more you impose order, the more entropy will increase until the balance has been re-achieved; chaos will increase until order can no longer maintain a semblance of such.
You are very right that this is the land of the free no more, but it happened as soon as we set up a ruling government larger than a communal setting. I think that we are seeing the first signs of the destabilization of the State and perhaps might even see the upbringing of nature within our life times.
