I REALLY like the colors on that thistle. I don't think it's edible though so I guess I won't grow any. lol
I just noticed I have a beautiful chive flower in my garden that is somewhat similar. :) I kind of wish my whole yards was chives instead of grass.
I picked some wild chives yesterday! I put them in my gravy. The color is very vivid on these thistles, I am not sure if they are edible but it probably has some good bush craft uses. I will have to research and write a post about it.
I think I will try and expand my chive garden and move some to my front yard for edible landscaping. I didn't know they had pretty flowers. I thought they were just a regular grass but grass doesn't have flowers. Have you ever tried onion greens.
