Beautiful Cinnabar Caterpillars

Whilst going down my garden i noticed a ragwort plant infested with these lovely little caterpillars...

    We have cinnabar moths in the UK.

    When I was young we found some on a plant by the roadside and put them in a container. They made their little chrysalises and later hatched and flew away. Every year they came back, at least that's what we told ourselves when we saw any :).
