Slug vs. Dead Bird - who ya got?

Walking back into the building from lunch break today, I spotted this slug getting all up on this dead bird's business

Oh nature, you weird wonderful thing. On a sidenote, there are a lot of dead birds that appear on this walkway, probably the tenth dead bird I've seen out here in the last three years of working at this location. I haven't seen an "office cat" - this is a 5 story building with a parking garage beneath. So my thought is that they are just falling dead out of the tree that hangs over the walkway. Lots of pollution around here :( a couple major highways and lots of industrial and people pollution...
