Final Fall Foliage Footage

in #nature9 years ago (edited)

Last weekend I started to hear reports and see pictures of rather significant snowfall for this time of year. Fortunately, that hasn't been the case where I live. I'll see plenty of snow this winter so i'm in no hurry for it to get here.

But, now that the clocks have been turned back and it's getting dark earlier, I better get my fall foliage footage out. Truthfully, it hasn't been a good season for foliage. Usually here in the northeast it's beautiful to look at. But we've had a rather warm fall which has effected the changing of the leaves.

I shot this footage on the last Saturday of October during the final cookout of the year. The weather was 70 degrees and sunny. All video was shot using a Sony Handycam AX53. Hopefully next fall will be filled with the vibrant colors I'm used to seeing.

These video clips are from my longer Youtube video. I'll post the Youtube video below them.

The sound of the wind through the colorful leaves is one of the great things about autumn! It's nice to get one last look at the foliage, thank you! The table and chairs with the branches swaying over was a nice scene. What a lovely place for a sit down tea!

I like that shot too. I don't think my parents have ever sat there. I think they bought the table and chairs for decoration. I would sit there for tea, it sounds lovely.
