The fellow on the tree

When I was walking in the garden I found this fellow on a tree hiding himself from others.This is a lizard and I did some literature survey to find its common name or the scientific name.But I ended up with lot of confusions.So I gave up on that.If anybody here identify this species, please let us know it too
