A sunken lane in Brabant, Belgium.
A sunken lane or hollow way, 'holle weg' as we call it in Dutch, are for the most part protected natural habitats these days.
Formed by erosion or just being in use over centuries, these are imaginativ places, speaking to my fantastic mind, goblins, dwarves, brigands all seem to appear out of nowhere.
With the dense growth, protection from the elements, mushrooms, a variety of flowers it's easy to see why these are such wonderful places.
#natureisbeautiful Always. So unlike humans
It is, doesn't have to be the tropics but always delivers.
