The Wise Ones.

Some of the largest trees on earth exist in the Sequoia National Park, standing up to 80 metres high and nearly 8 metres wide, ageing up to 1700 years old. They are too massive to be blown over in the wind, and their bark is thick and rich in tannins, which protect them against fire and insect damage. The vibration and energy that this place emanates is indescribable and you can't help but feel that all you experience is so minuscule when you are amongst these wise giants. For all they have seen and for all they have experienced, I could not even begin to imagine.

Woow I have never seen such a large tree! Good photo ;)

Neither had I before this point. Sequoias are pretty amazing trees!

@neeqi
That is one awesomely huge tree

This one wasn't even the biggest! Can you believe that.

Wow, Gorgeous, I have seen my biggest tree in Knysna Forest in South Africa, and also in Limpopo South Africa.

I love nature in general but theres something pretty amazing about big trees!

Agreed, you cannot live that long without some kind of extraordinary energy that goes with it.

Beautiful words to match the beautiful scenery.

I appreciate you stopping by @positiveninja. 😊

wow..
so nice place dear...tree are amazing..thanks.for sharing

welcome..dear..cutiepie..

They are an empressive tree to grow so big from such a small seed.
Here in a australia we have some awesome trees our selves. Giant red cedars

They really are and they're almost invincible. They're so apt to their environment and benefit from things like wildfires. It's truly insane. I always thought Australia had the best nature being home ya know, haha, but this place had something to prove.

1700 years, mere old age for a tree, nothing to a rock, several generations for the rest of us XD Nice sense of scale :)

You're right, rocks are pretty undervalued! I'm sure they've got a story or two to tell. 😉
