Nature # 37 or winter sketch (the last this year, probably :))

The winter forest stood, not moving, frozen in cold frosts. Heavy snowfall covered it almost to the crowns, so it was impossible to walk through the forest.

Since the middle of January, the winter forest has dozed, wrapped in its rich, warm fur coat. The sky was clouded with a blue mist and, from day to day, the dry snow fell softly. The forest seemed a gloomy giant, hunched under the weight of swept drifts, without the sunlight.

The beginning of February was unexpectedly pleased by the sun. The timid rays, barely making their way through the dense veil of fog, lit sparkling lights in the snow-gray beard of the forest. Gray clouds reluctantly crawled torn, through which the sky looked blue.

Forest winter paths are swept with snow. There are many different footprints on the snow, small and large. In some ways, you can identify their owners - dogs, squirrels, mice, and birds. The winding tracks of skis, skirting the trees, go into the distance ...
