The Mesmerizing Power of Lightning
Beauty in Lightning
Hey everyone, there have been some pretty terrible storms in my area this past week, resulting in whole towns flooding. I even heard of a woman that had her entire basement filled with water, floor to ceiling. While the damage done has been extensive I wanted to share with you what I consider storm related beauty in the form of lightning.
I was able to snap a few pretty amazing pictures of lightning, the quality isn't the greatest, but I still find these pictures kind of mesmerizing to look at.

There were so many lightning strikes I had to take a video. I was really struggling to stop watching the storm and lightning strikes, every time I felt like heading inside there would be a fantastic strike that pulled me back into the storm!
Just wanted to share this storm with you all, even in something so destructive there is plenty of beauty!
For some reason the thumbnail didn't show up...bummer.

After I commented i was expecting the "thanks captain obvious" message. LOL
Hahahah, I thought about it...but I genuinely wonder why it doesn't show up. I just cut the image size in half and still nothing.

It is so captivating to watch! I could watch a storm for hours if there is good lightning.
