Legend of a simply beautiful love, the union of the Caroní River and the Orinoco River in Venezuela.

The aboriginal legend tells that these two rivers symbolize two lovers, condemned to be together but never to mix. Legend has it that the Orinoco (man) and Caroní (woman) fell in love.
Nobody is to blame for having been born in different places, but their hearts beat with excitement when through the wind they caressed each other.

The gods opposed and they, in defiance of the obstacles, agreed to be away from the mountain and together to go to the immense blue sea. That was the dream and they fulfilled it, from the orthodox and unorthodox they made a single theory.

That is the true greatness of nature, which sooner or later unites what it has to unite. The hundreds of admirers dressed as affluents who fell at Caroní's feet, failed to break their desires towards their beloved. She did not falter for a moment in her longing to meet her beloved boyfriend, and the day they did so, they kissed each other softly and silently in fresh water bubbles. Holding hands, they went to travel the world through the ocean currents.

Sometimes the Orinoco becomes rebellious and haughty, but just a nod from Caroni, it calms down. In the end, both are respected, both are needed. In the deep look they notice that they love each other, that they take care of themselves and protect themselves. When Orinoco is suffocated by the heat, Caroní blows the wind to cool it. In the same way, when Caroní is very cold, then Orinoco clothes her with heat. That gesture of mutual help is love, it is peace and freedom.

For the curious minds ...

The Orinoco River in Venezuela, represents the source of life, is the largest and longer of this nation, part of its 2140 km covering 17 of the 23 Venezuelan states (Amazonas, Bolívar, Mérida, Trujillo, Apure, Táchira, Lara, Portuguesa, Barinas, Cojedes, Carabobo, Yaracuy, Guárico, Aragua, Anzoátegui, Delta Amacuro and Monagas). The Caroní River, not as wide and abundant as the first, is still one of the main rivers of the country, it is the second with the highest flow and reaches 952 km in length (from the Kukenán tepuy, to its confluence with the Orinoco).

Oh this planet has such Beauty doesnt it @mjzo and you have certainly managed to put it into words and pictures ! Thankyou for reminding me of something which i clearly had forgotten, as actually i did know of this legend told to me long ago when i was a child! )

It's correct, nature is a waterfall of beauty. She always makes her way beyond our action or omission, and this is a good thing because it makes us happier, fuller and more vital. It allows us to enjoy a beautiful world, although sometimes we insist on not looking. Beauty is good for the human being, for his soul, for his goodness and his creativity. Nature shows it to us even when it breaks through man's destruction, leaving abandoned places that our world turns into corners of profuse and restless spectacle.
I'm very happy that my post has helped you to remember something of your past and that you have enjoyed it, that is the intention♥

What a great and besutiful explanation of something so hard to put into words ! Yo do it with such ease, remarkable !
