One reason is because it is known by Yogyakarta tourist beautiful beaches. Some of them are so iconic for tourists, like the Parangtritis Beach in Bantul. In Gunung Kidul is no less beautiful, for example there are Krakal Beach, Indrayanti beach.

But a few days later, the waves on the beach south of Yogyakarta is not so friendly. Hit the waves with a height of three to six meters.
