My absolutely favorite spring flower; so many wonderful childhood memories of smelling them in my mother's flowerbeds.

My mama's favorite flower and the first painting that I ever painted. They are beautiful. Ours bloomed early here in Tennessee and lasted much longer than usual. They just died out a week or two ago. Usually they're gone by end of March or very early April. It's amazing how many varieties of these there are too. Yellow seems to be the most common color of these but always beautiful to see. :)
They bring in the Spring.
Yes they do and they always get snowed on here at least once. This year I think they got snowed on 3 or 4 times! Spring did NOT want to show its head here in Tennessee this year! LOL :)
