OSPREY VIDEO
My amateur attempt at filming a moving object. Taken at Manor of St. George, Shirley NY.
I can't get enough of these magnificent birds. They are only here during the warm weather, so will take as many pictures as possible.
Can't wait to get some photos of the babies. :-)
While taking this video at least 5 Osprey arrived overhead. Apparently giving support to the agitated nesting bird. At the 1.34 minute mark a second larger bird crosses the camera lens from right to left.
He / she flew directly low over me. After that I gave them their space and walked away. The female Osprey can get larger than the male.
Hey, wicked job, I always find it super hard to track birds when zoomed in, it can be a real nightmare. I loved seeing their beautiful wings...and can't wait to see the babies!! Thanks for sharing Mike!
