IRON PIER BEACH //
Riverhead Town beach on Long Island Sound. Nice little beach at the end of Pier Ave.
The North shore of Long Island is very picturesque with sandy 100 to 200 foot cliffs, salted with large and small boulders.
Erosion has worn down the cliffs face over the years, exposing the rocks deposited here from miles away by the last Glacier.
That just looks like a peaceful place to visit.
In winter mostly.
Looks like some nice rocks there along your
beach, do you like picking up rocks and
driftwood, any agates? :-)
Yes good place to take a walk and explore, even if you only come away with fresh air.
