Chain Bridge (Budapest)
The bridge is named after the Hungarian politician Count Istvan Szecheni, who has invested a lot of funds and forces in his construction. At the time of construction, the bridge was considered a miracle of light (several years later it surpassed the size of the Nikolaev chain bridge of similar design). The bridge played an important role in the economic and social life of Hungary, and became one of the incentives for the unification of Buddha and Pest into a single city in Budapest. The decoration of the bridge is made of cast-iron casting.
