Laguna Kaan Luum: Blue oasis in the lush jungle
Kaan Luum lagoon is a hidden gem found just about 15 minutes from Tulum main town. Kaan Luum lagoon is one of Tulum´s best secrets so far and a great option for off the beaten track spots.
What makes Laguna Kaan Luum special is the color of the water and the fact the center is a deep cenote. Some say the center is about 80 meters deep. You can tell the color contrast between the center of the lagoon and the sides. If you are a scuba diver you are allowed to go in the cenote area.
Kaan Luum lagoon is not very known yet for tourists which is great! It is like a secret place and it keeps its natural colors; green turquoise and dark blue color.
The name of the Kaan Luum lagoon in the Mayan language means "yellow earth". This lagoon is surrounded by a lush jungle that protects this peaceful piece of paradise.
The Kaan Luum Lagoon holds extraordinary and amazing nature, if you are a lover of discovering unique places and being out of the ordinary, this place and its tranquility is ideal for you.
The cost of entrance is a very reasonable 100 pesos for swimming.
Stay awesome and Steem on!
