Taking care of your health and immune system by LIVING
For the past few days I haven't made any posts, as I've been living on our countryside cabin for a while. One of the typical reasons for health problems and unhappiness is that we live in city environments, sit around too much and have no connection to the earth and the nature.
Proven health benefits for being outdoors and contacting the nature and soil
- Lower stress levels
- Less allergies
- Stronger immune system
- Longer life expectancy

If our immune system has no contact with wide range of different micro-organisms, it will easily start to develop allergies, as immune system is without any real threats to handle. In worst case, asthma can be partially caused by lacking contact with the nature and instead living in middle of city smog.
Living outdoors full time or part-time
You don't need to live in the woods all the time, just as long as you have enough time in the nature. Gardening and keeping your soil healthy is one of the best things you can do to your health and to your children, if you can get your children interested in gardening!
Not alone you take care of your immune system, but you can grow your own food, instead of living on GMO and mass produced groceries.
Photo by me, onions growing on the garden.
Those who are living less in city environments and more in rural areas are less likely to get pneumonia and other similar conditions
Those who have had contact with rich microbiological systems are less likely to get seriously ill.
Understanding the nature is a huge part of common knowledge which we all should have
Even short periods of time in the nature lower your stress levels
- High stress levels have an impact on life quality
- High stress levels will damage the immune system
- At lower stress levels, you'll feel better both mentally and psychically
We all should aim for finding more time to stay outdoors, getting all the help we can from the nature around us. Our lives, our health and our wellbeing is at their greatest when we are living in the nature and with the nature!
Help yourself and help others to understand the importance of all the things we can't see ourself.
