Parisian Scenes - Day 10

This beautiful and very nature-oriented photo was taken in Bois de Vincennes, the eastern forest of Paris (don't confuse it with the western forest, Bois de Boulogne). This beautiful forest houses the Zoological park of Paris, as well as the flowers' park, a very nice castle, two lakes, a rugby field (for some reason), a race course, and many more attractions and interesting spots. This is also the place of residence for the Foire du Trône (the page is in French only this time, sorry about that), the grand fair that takes place for over a month every spring.

This photo was taken while canoeing with my family in the western lake of Bois de Vincennes, where we say an abundance of swans, geese, ducks and other water birds. We had that canoe for an hour, during which we had the most splendid time connecting with nature and showing our little urban daughter that both nature and its animals can be very nice things.
